Hind Alghamdi was born and raised in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia and currently works as Museum Programer at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree at the King Faisal University, she interned with various cultural and creative initiatives in the region, and discovered a lifelong passion for the arts, specifically the practice of traditional and contemporary Arabic calligraphy.
Consequently, she went on to found Ha’a in Khobar, a studio practice that offers calligraphy workshops and developing artistic products.
Her artwork has featured in multiple exhibition throughout the Gulf region, most recently in an exhibition at the celebrated Athr Gallery in Jeddah, King Abdulaziz center for world culture in Dhahran. Alghamdi has been described as an artist, researchers and explorer.
