Jewelry design
I remember falling in love with a ring my mother owned. It is a classic ring embellished with diamonds. And I remember my first visit to the jewelry exhibition, when I was surrounded by ideas of designers, their jewelry and designs studded with diamonds and precious stones of different and distinctive ways. It was the time when I fell in love with jewelry design.
What has kept me inspired was ‘passion’. Practicing many types of Arabic Calligraphy also played a big role in keeping me inspired all the time as I was always sketching, painting and twisting my calligraphy designs to fit in an artwork, also being addicted to art and designs exhibitions. After exploring different categories of jewelry, I am aware now of the direction I am willing to take as a designer. I want to create wearable art that is affordable aesthetically and financially with a strong sense of design.
